Karlye Behrman, LCSW

Karlye Behrman, LCSW, is a Licensed Certified Social Worker at Northwest Psychiatry & Counseling in Bentonville, Arkansas. She has extensive experience working with children, adults, and couples.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, Karlye received a master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston in Texas.

She has always held a passion for working with people. She primarily focuses her practice on those seeking help to manage and reduce depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, and trauma.

Karlye is trained and uses empirically supported techniques, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is always seeking to learn and improve her techniques as a clinician.

Karlye has a wide range of experience working in various settings, including inpatient acute care, schools, and outpatient care providing services to children, adults, and families. She has a pleasant, fun, outgoing personality and loves weaving humor and spontaneity into her sessions.

She enjoys spending time with her husband outdoors, gardening, and traveling. She is always up for new adventures and exploring the world around her.
