Dr. William Little Jr, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. William Little, Jr. is a licensed psychologist providing psychological evaluations, individual psychotherapy, and consultation services at Northwest Psychiatry and Counseling in Bentonville, Arkansas. Dr. Little believes in a pragmatic approach to the psychological assessment process for both children (6 and up) and adults. He views each testing session as an opportunity for his clients to learn about themselves and to develop an empirically supported understanding of their own unique personal strengths and weaknesses.
Dr. Little also manages a small caseload of psychotherapy clients, where he utilizes principles from third-wave cognitive behavioral psychotherapy approaches (CBT, ACT).
Dr. Little completed his doctorate studies at the APA-accredited counseling psychology program at West Virginia University in 2015. In 2008, Dr. Little completed his master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and worked briefly as a Licensed Psychological Examiner in Central Arkansas before returning to school. Over the course of his career, Dr. Little has worked in both outpatient and clinical settings, providing psychological assessment and psychotherapeutic services.
Dr. Little comes to Northwest Arkansas from Memphis, TN, and he is excited to be part of the community. When not in the office, you might find him out on the trails mountain biking, fly fishing for smallmouth bass or trout, or floating a beautiful Ozark stream with his wife, two young boys, and rescue puppy, Muddy.
