Erin Kennedy, LAC, LMFT

Erin Kennedy, LAC, LAMFT, is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Bentonville, Arkansas. At Northwest Psychiatry & Counseling, Erin works with anyone seeking support in navigating all of life’s unique challenges and is passionate about educating others on the importance of mental health.

Erin is a native of Arkansas with four teenage children. Erin has a Master of Science in Counseling from John Brown University and has experience working with clients of all ages with a variety of issues. She is trained in Emotion Focused Therapy and uses that, among other techniques and theories, when working with couples. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma.

Erin relies heavily on research-based therapy techniques specifically for trauma and the invaluable wealth of information and experience gained from her own journey. Her heart is to instill hope and help aid her clients through growth and healing.

Erin has a passion and personal understanding for those most closely affected by trauma. The effects of trauma are unique to everyone, as is the journey of healing. Erin’s approach is individualized for each client, but there are some overarching truths. Your story matters, and it is critical to find someone to walk with you on your journey to healing. You will not find healing in isolation.
